As part of the Comic Week in Karlsruhe, a manga drawing workshop took place on May 10th, which I had the pleasure of leading. Together with the participants, we created a unique character using an optimized character sheet that I developed, and brought that character to life through drawing. At the end, everyone had the opportunity to present their ideas. The participants were incredibly creative and contributed fantastic ideas and drawings. I had a lot of fun, and I am looking forward to doing more workshops soon! If you have ideas about what you would like to learn in a workshop, feel free to make suggestions. Do you want to draw cool Manga characters? Dynamic poses? Layout Manga pages? Drawing Manga in Procreate? Self-publishing? Let me know!

At the event, I also met the talented author Serah Jung, who moderated a cosplay walk. I am incredibly excited about her upcoming fantasy book series! She's a great teacher of storytelling.

A big thank you to Kazkon and the Karlsruhe City Library (Stadtbibliothek Karlsruhe) for organizing this successful gathering.
